Question about fuel lines from tank to fuel pump
I noticed one of the lines was capped off at my fuel pump. I'm thinking its the vent hose if these trucks had one? The fuel pump has the feed from tank, then feed to carb them the other is capped off. There is also a hard line coming up the frame from tank that just ends right before the fuel pump, so I'm pretty sure the capped line goes there. Does anyone have a diagram of where all the fuel lines hook up too? I also looked behind seat and saw 2 lines running up passenger side cab? Thought that was pretty wierd. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Question about fuel lines from tank to fuel pump
I believe that is for the charcoal canister that most folks threw away.

Re: Question about fuel lines from tank to fuel pump
72s have 3 lines, main feed to the pump, a return from the pump to the tank, and one emission line to the charcoal canister. This ends just in front of the front cross member. Lots of people plug the emission line and toss the canister.
