Interior of a 68 burb... Can we get you guys to post pics? Fixing to start restoring
I picked up a 68 in Seattle and drove it to Texas! Awesome trip with my girlfriend. Had no back seats so we slept in the back! It had a wood floor covered with carpet. I would love to see some others interior! Thanks

Can someone tell me if the second row seat in a 68 had two arm rests or one?

My 3/4 middle bench has two, and my 3rd row bench has two arm rests as well.
What are you planning to do with your interior, are you thinking original style or custom?

Well we were wanting to go original... I need a second row seat. I found a third row seat by chance on the trip! Lucky find. I will try to post pics tonight...

they made two different 2nd row seats. A full width and a 3/4 wide. Which do you want?

Cool, I am saving up for OE style seat covers for my 3 benches.
Just materials alone is over a grand (for the OE cloth/vinyl version). You can get vinyl styles cheaper, but I am in it for the 1968 OE and nothing else. If you are going for the 3 bench lay out, look for the 3/4 second bench that way you can get to the 3rd bench with out having to climb over the 2nd bench.

BTW, forum member "Truckseats" is the only guy that I have come across in years of looking that will make up the 67-68 cover pattern with OE materials.
I plan to go through him when I have the funds.

Is the backseat from a 68 blazer a 3/4 length?

Yes, rear Blazer seats from 69-72 work fine for the 67-72 Suburban.
You will just need to get Suburban mounting hardware.

Will it be shorter so the kids don't have to climb over the second seat?

Re: Interior of a 68 burb... Can we get you guys to post pics? Fixing to start restor
The Blazer rear seat is a 3/4, so if you put it in the second row there will be a passageway to get to the 3rd row. If you put it in the 3rd row position, it will fit between the wheel tubs. The mounting brackets are specific to 2nd row, as well as for the 3rd row bench.

Can you pick up those mounting brackets from LMC trucking?

No, they are a salvage part(s).
They come up for sale from time to time in the classifieds section of the forum though. The floor clamps are now reproduced though, but you will need to scrounge for the bench seat hardware.
