Factory Gauges with no Numbers????

Can someone tell me what the lines or the gaps stand for on the factory gauges in a 71 c-10? Is the oil pres. gauge a 0-60 or 0-80 gauge? Water temp? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Factory Gauges with no Numbers????

The stock oil pressure gauge is 0-60. Some big trucks had a 0-80 gauge that some people swap into the smaller truck clusters. It should tell you on the back of the gauge which it is.
Keep in mind these gauges are 40+ years old, they are a good guideline, but you may not get exact readings from them. If you have a high dollar engine I would highly recommend a quality aftermarket gauge setup somewhere.
