Re: Duramax Suburban

So both trucks were 06s right? Was there any odd connection problems or did all the VATs, dash, and what not just plug and play?

GM really ought to offer a duramax 'burb and van.

It is amazingly plug and play. My Burb thinks it a truck with rear ac and two fuel tanks. The computer code has to be changed to make it all work. I also have a fuel cell where the rear tank and spare tire use to be. So when I fill up it says 740 miles until empty and it all works. My truck has a 60 gallon fuel capacity.

The donor was a the last of the 07's when they did the mid year change over. It had 60,300 on the odometer. My Sub had 64,000 at the time of the conversion.

Re: Duramax Suburban

So you dropped the burb body onto the truck frame? Did any of the body mounts match up... or did you fab your own.

Kick ass project BTW!
