Rear-view mirror upgrade/improv sorta
Well my original 70 GMC mirror was hazy looking and just sorta limped and jiggled; just didn't want to stay in place. On my truck it bolts to the top area of the window.
Solution was to go to those Glue-to-the-windshield type. Worked for a while but; no matter how I cleaned the glass or prepped it, or which version of adhesive I bought, it would eventually fall off. Saw this Ebay item for a 1970 buick Mirror. Hmnnn, that sorta looks like what I had originally. $18 dollars later it was mine. It's a bit longer, but in much better condition than my original. I just had to switch the brackets, but it works, is a bit wider and returns me to a stock look. Buick on left, Jimmy on right...
