Re: LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
OK, thanks! Since our trucks are similar, I'm trying to imagine mine with 20's.

Re: LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
Tank came in, looks good, going to install it next week.
Boyds Welding, EFI Stealth Aeromotive 340 Pump. Purchased Part # WIX-33737 (Corvette Regulator/Filter) Combo to manage the PSI and minimize the amount of return line to the tank.

Re: LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
My booster set-up, out of a 72 (i think) is old, as I had to rework a few brake lines I noticed some were in really bad shape (+ big booster looks bad next to the new, clean LS3) Anyone have any experience with Hydraulic Assist systems? Specifically the CPP kit?

Re: LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
Power Steering - Ok when you are doing your swap consider the difference in the GEN II power steering pump to the old GM Power Steering box.... quick fix, w/o asking the expensive diesel guys to mock some up....

Re: LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
Sorry, been a terrible website user. The LS3 is awesome, better on gas when my foot isn't in it. No rubbing on the 4.5/6 drop, BE COOL Radiator and dual fans keep it cool even in 90°+ weather, and the BAER brakes/ Hydraulic Assist stop the truck on a dime (tested here on I95 a couple of times)

How are you liking the LS compared to the 400?
Looking back on it now how was the swap? Anything you would do different? |

I would look at doing a manual if I lived in a more rural area but happy with the 4L70E. Also the corvette stock regulator/filter is good but Im going to change it out to a more robust regulator.
