Looking to install my new ACC massbacked carpet kit this weekend..Thermotec acoustical and heat control mat going down first.
Anybody have any installation tips or tricks for a nice clean install?
The one strike I have against me is that it is going to be cool this weekend
(48-52) and thats going to make everything a bit stiffer.

Lay it out flat the night before inside your house. It will help get some of the packing wrinkles out. Take your time while installing and start with small holes until you get it centered correctly and pushed forward enough.

Basically go slow.....

Are the holes for the seats that they have marked out accurate??

I don't recall my carpet being marked at all. I would suggest having a hairdryer handy, and lots of new utility knife blades. Cust a little bit at a time undil you are satisfied with the fit. When I installed my carpet, I got the center hump how I wanted it, and worked my way out. Installing the bolts (seat, seat belts, etc.) in the holes and making x cuts over them works well for me.

There is markings on the back where the seats bolt up..and seatbelts.
It looks like it's layed out for factory bucket locations..No markings where the inner perch is..All the other holes are marked.

I don't recall seeing any Pre-mark holes. I had to do it manually.....just get some new, sharp razor blades.

I wouldnt go by anything premarked, like jonboy said lay it in the truck and start in the middle. You will have to trim the outer edges to fit as they leave excess material.

I'm a carpenter..There is no way I would cut anything without first checking it myself..
But I am pretty stoked about the way this carpet is going to look after seeing how Jonboy's truck looks. I'm getting closer to having all the same colors in my interior.lol

When I installed my carpet it was easy... the hardest part was removing the seat beat bolts... A good little cordless impact gun makes it a breeze though.
I used a sharp punch to make my holes for the seatbelt and seat bolts then used a razor blade and cut an X right over the holes for a little give.
