86 C10 Lowering Issue
Anyone ever have a conflict between the lower control arm and 15" wheel scrubbing each other right at the lip on the arm next to the ball joint. I'm using belltech spindles and springs. Any thoughts.

Re: 86 C10 Lowering Issue
I have been told 2.5 inch spindles don't have that problem. Does everyone confirm that info?

Re: 86 C10 Lowering Issue
I have 2.5" spindles on mine and didn't have to modify anything, it also has 3" coils 15x8" wheels no problems.

Re: 86 C10 Lowering Issue
Can someone take a quick photo to show me where their rim is in relation to the control arm? I'm wondering if my back spacing on my rims is the cause.

What brand spindle are you using?

Re: 86 C10 Lowering Issue
Thats correct. A narrower, or less back space will help solve the problem. If you go to a larger rim diameter, the problem goes away.
