My Camaro

While I'm waiting to bring my 65 C10 home(2 more days!) I figured I would share a few pictures of my car. This was my first car and I drove it to high school with a 2.8 V6. After graduation the transformation began. The car is street legal and just the other week ran a 8.12 @ 169 on drag radials through the mufflers. It's powered by a 436" small block with a single stage plate. Here's a few pictures.

Re: My Camaro

That is a fast street car. How hard it is to resist letting out of it when the wheels come up that high?

THe first time it wheelied like that I couldn't resist lifting. It landed really hard and did a fair amount of damage. Over the years I've got better at driving through them. I've also got better at tuning the car so it dosen't do that very often anymore.

Re: My Camaro

How do you tune for that? Do you adjust when the shot hits?

Combination of adjusting the rebound on the front shocks, limiting front suspension travel and power management. I recently changed the front struts and they have made a world of differance.

Re: My Camaro

That car is awesome, love the look of it, I could get into a lot of trouble with that car.
