Rear seat hold downs
Can someone tell me why the rear seat hold downs are in such demand? Seems like everyone and their grandmother is looking for a set. Are they usually rusted out completely, hard to find, etc? What else on a Blazer / Jimmy is a tough find? Just curious.

They are hard to find, and it seems that previous owners take out the rear seat and lose the brackets. Mine only had one when I got it. Also, there are no aftermarket brackets made, which make the supply very small.
Spare tire brackets are also hard to find. I think people took them out for the room and threw them away. Then there's always tow hooks. A one of a kind style in '71-'72. They bring a very good price - very low quantity, and no aftermarket parts made.

The previous owner of my rig lost the whole back seat!
