My truck's new springs

Got some pictures of Margrett in her new springs - 1.5 inch drop up front and 3 inches in the rear. I know, very mild in today's standards but just what I was looking for. The picture aren't that great but let me know what you think.

The last one was the before stance.

Re: My truck's new springs

It looks just the way it should, very nice. I always thought the trucks sat a little high at the factory ride height. Your truck looks right. I have a 72 LWB Cheyenne that by 40 years of sitting on original springs is just about perfect. Nice Truck!!

Re: My truck's new springs

Wow that looks perfect! How much taller were the rear springs vs the front? I'm trying to figure out how low I should go in the back. That's the exact stance I'm looking for! Just a little taller in the rear. I already have 2.5 drop spindles so how low should I go in the back?? Longbed w/bb. Not trying to jack your thread...

Thanks,
Ryan

What I did was measure all four corners and came up with the drops I thought I wanted. I was lucky since it turned out just how I was hoping it would. I know the factory springs had settled over the last 41 years so I was sweating how it would look with the new springs I got from ECE.

Thanks to all for your comments. Margrett should be back home after the holidays as she is having some minor things done like a carb rebuild and exhaust work.
