My first truck in 1984
I wish i had a better pic but it was a 67 big window and i had put PB, PS, and it already had the under the dash air. Oh and it also had round dodge cornet side marker lights in it. It actual looked good with them. That is the wife also before we got married 30 years ago. And now (2) 1972 blazers and (1)1969 truck and a 62 impala all i have left is the wife and my 1967, well not including my daily drivers through,Where did the time go!

Re: My first truck in 1984
Not having taken enough pictures through the years is one of my biggest regrets. I would get in a hurry, working on something and wanting to get it turned, I would not take the time to take a couple of quick pictures. Now, looking back at some of the interesting cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors I've owned, I really wish I had pictures!! When you talk about some of the stuff you've owned, people often think you're crazy. Pictures are good to have!!

Re: My first truck in 1984
If I understood correctly, you still have that truck, but all the others you listed you've bought and eventuelly sold?
I still have my first truck, it's a 67 as well. Bought it when I was 15 and drove it to HS, my last year of college, and it still gets driven quite a bit now, that was about 16 years ago...

Re: My first truck in 1984
Sorry about that but no i do not have that truck wished i still did i was young and stupid and didnt know what i had at the time. i got rid of it in the late 80's, I have the 67 truck my dad had bought in 1967 now. And i am restoring it. Its in my albums on this site.
i wish also i took more pictures of the vehicle i had then. I guess they will only be memories to most of us who did'nt have cameras in our pockets like we do now.

Re: My first truck in 1984
My parents never had good cameras....Polaroid is all we ever had and even now, all they use is a disposable. They literally hate anything with a computer, including their lap top!
Dad used to have oak boards, rough cut, down the sides of the bed of my truck....I remember him cutting those up and burning them sometime about the late '80's....honestly that he kept that truck and never got rid of it was something of a miracle. |
