1959 3100 oil canister
I just thought I would ask if there is anyone selling a S6 oil canister for my 1959 Apache 3100. I recently bought the truck which has the 235 engine without the oil filter and I wish to install the correct part.
Many thanks in advance |

Re: 1959 3100 oil canister
You can probably find the stock canister that fastens onto the manifold pretty easy and one shouldn't be expensive. They aren't "rare" and they aren't "collectable". There are also adapters that use a spin on filter available if you aren't bent on having it all perfectly original.

Re: 1959 3100 oil canister
I have one from a 1969 BB 396. It may be the same one. Not sure. Anyway if it is and you want it you can have it if you're not in a super hurry and you promise to be a good boy. I won't be in Washington State till the New Year and I could send it PP to you.
