Doors, fenders and hood -- 67-71 VS 72

67-72 Enthusiast,

I'm new to this forum so please bear with me. I searched FAQs but could not find this answer.

Will 67-71 C10 truck doors, fenders, and hood fit my 1972 C10 truck?

Thank you,

Dale Brown

69-72 fenders and hood will bolt up fine the doors from a 72 are a little different they have a little hole just below the vent window handle but 67-71 door will work with little to no mods

Yes they will all fit, but I believe to run the 67-68 hood and fenders you also need the core support

Dale, The '72 doors have some subtle differences from the other years. The earlier doors will fit and work fine on your '72 truck. If you want authentic, however, you will have to make some changes. To use '72 door panels, you should use '72 window risers because earlier risers have too short crank stems and the cranks won't fit because the '72 door panels have a raised ring around the crank stems. Also, the '72 door panels won't fit earlier doors without drilling about a dozen mounting holes in each door. '72 door panels are held on by plastic push in pins, and the holes are in different locations. If your older doors are really nice, about a day's work will make you proud. A little body work below the vent windows is a worthwhile project to install the small reinforcing screw and ferrule. Let us know what you decide to do. Roy
