Normally I hate rims bigger than 16" (That's what my truck has), but, if it's done right, I don't mind it as long as it's under 20". It's all in right size and wheel choice IMO.

Re: Biggest rims I have personally seen on a C10

I think 15" ralleyes, slotted mags, or any similar setup with matching large sidewall tires on all four corners and incorrect backspacing that has the wheel sticking out too far for a look that screams "I have a mullet" is equally as repulsive as these ridiculously oversized rims.

These comments are great to read....it is a good looking truck, but someone needs to photoshop it with some autodrags or corvette rallys

Re: Biggest rims I have personally seen on a C10

I like your rendering better..I actually drive by this place almost everyday and see that truck...paint is awesome but yeah those wheels are a little too large..they also have a square body with giant wheels out there as well...that ride has to be rough

Re: Biggest rims I have personally seen on a C10

If you're going to do large wheels, and by large I'm thinking 20's, or a 22 (on the rear only), you HAVE to lower it so the top of the rim is tucked up in the wheel well. The wheel wells are pretty large and can handle it. Otherwise the rims just look giant and out of proportion. That cartoony wagon effect.
By the same token, I love steelies with a small cap, but any other 15" or 16" wheel just looks way tiny and dated...but bad dated, not classic.
Only my opinion, of course. Mine's bagged with 18/20's and I want to switch to 20/22" because I think the 18's look too small in those large openings.
