Clutch linkage setup?

Question concerning this rod... This is what came with the truck, no threads or hole for nut or pin. Just doesn't seem that secure. I assume the tension of the spring holds it all together?

Yes. Drill you a little hole in it and put a pin through the hole.

You are also missing the part that centers the rod onto the clutch fork (part 3 on the pic).
