Re: good deal?

It looks like he did a very "rough" paint job on the bumpers and hub caps to "clean it up".....

I'd be a little nervious on the rust. The engine does not look well cared for either.

Re: good deal?

I'd pass. Lots of money for that rust an no way to verify correct miles.

Re: good deal?

Looks like to me the wrong door panels. I own a '76 Silverado and my door panels don't look like that. Also they're too new looking. May be 86k on the motor though. I hate to say it but this truck around here is about 1k. We seem to pay more for rust.

Re: good deal?

Someone's definitely been into it. The doors look to have been replaced if the newer door panels fit, and I can't recall if Custom Deluxes ever came with the full two tone like that. Did they? Either way, I wouldn't be expecting anything amazing. Rust sucks.

Re: good deal?

Id bet adding a 1 or 2 in front of that 87k miles and youd be closer to correct. And there looks to be more rust than id be willing to give more than $1500 for. For what hes asking you can find something better.

Yup. I bought my K20 in it's initial form (smallblock, SM465/NP208, D44/14bolt SF rear) for $700 from a complete stranger. It ran, drove and stopped...and about the same rust (different spots, front section of rear wheelwells) in OP's link.

$2700 is a ridiculous price for that.
