If you don't mind my asking, how are you searching mulitple CL cities? I used to use Craigspal and loved it, but CL lawyers got a case of the arse about it and made them take it down.

If you have a smartphone you can get the cPro+ app to search multiple cities. Best craigslist search tool I've found. Easiest way to post ads too. Lets you save ads under a "favorites" tab so you can easily find saved ads later. You can also set up alerts for saved searches so you'll know whenever someone post what you're looking for as soon as possible.

I do use that or something quite similar on my phone, but I'd like to use something on my pc also as that's what I mainly use for viewing/posting on the forums. I also thought there was a limit to how many cities you could add with cPro+. Seems like I got some kind of error when I tried adding over 10 or so.

In Google search box I put in the subject matter then type site:craigslist.org

example:

1963 C10 site:craigslist.org
1960-66 chevy truck site:craigslist.org
1963 Chevrolet Panel Truck site:craigslist.org
63 C10 site:craigslist.org
1963 BBW site: craigslist.org ( some of the stuff with BBW has nothing to do with trucks )
Look how the other ad's are worded and then adapt your headings accordingly. I look at these ad's for hours. Every once and awhile you'll find parts that were not listed in the original title.

I share the findings for parts sought by other members on this site.Nice to keep others in mind. Other members have posted oddities that have ended up on my trucks as well. Just one big happy family here. The luv, can you fell it?

Another tip I learned on here was you can search multiple years by using the "|" symbol between years without spaces. For example- "1960|1961|1962|1963|60|61|62|63 chevy|chevrolet" truck. Works great, just do one search instead of individual searches.

This is good information, thanks. I do use auto tempest and am familiar with putting the divider between multiple years however this google info is new to me. (Besides the BBW part ). All good tips though.
