Not much if anything mechanically but lots of interior and exterior trim pieces.

Re: 1970 C-10 vs. CST/10
This should help answer your question about what CST brings. CST is kinda the predecessor to the Cheyenne trim level in 71/72 - roughly the equivalent. The Cheyenne Super package in 71/72 added some additional trinkets. Some Cheyennes in 71 actually still showed the Custom Sport Truck RPO nomenclature on the SPID. Anyway - it's just a trim level upgrade, but in 70, it was the top of the line. Note on the pics below - buckets were an additional option that could be had with the CST (and other trim levels) - but they weren't included as the picture might make one think. The green and red seat pics in the insets of the last pic are the lower level trim packages, not CSTs.

Re: 1970 C-10 vs. CST/10
As stated above, from 67-70 CST was the top trim package.

Re: 1970 C-10 vs. CST/10
Thank you guys, and thanks for the condolences.
this truck really is gorgeous. It's baby blue, with matching blue interior. Needs paint, and some rust work, like cab corners. But it's all there, driveable, and numbers matching. I'll post pics as soon as i get off work tonight. |
