 The body has minor dings. The rocker panels are rotted out and the lower inner part of the door also. The guy says hell take 800?? Would yall buy it? How would I go about fixing the drip rails? Posted via Mobile Device |

He wants 800... It runs but it smokes like a train. I planned on replacing the drivetrain anyways so I wasn't reall worried about that.

for parts, sure - but sounds like you plan to use as a starting point. personally, I wouldn't use that cab as the starting point for a build, I'd save my pennies and start with a better cabdidate. You rightly ask about how to fix those drip rails - well, they look pretty far gone to me, but more importantly - the rust under them and above the topline of the windshield would make me run away. $800 not a bad price for all the stuff, but I'm not sure this is a good starting point - sure, it COULD be done, but that doesn't mean it should be. I foresee many long hours of hair pulling in my crystal ball.

I was thinking a no also just because of all the work. If it just had it in the rockers and floor pan I'd be all over it.
