Need pic of stock instrument cluster lit up at night

If anyone has a pic of a stock instrument cluster lit up at night or would take the time to take one and post it.
It would be much greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Nope, it's got 168 bulbs instead of the 194 bulbs. PO did that upgrade.

Re: Need pic of stock instrument cluster lit up at night

I just rebuilt my cluster today. Painted all the needles and cleaned the electrical contacts. I pute 168 bulbs in mine and they are bright too.

I also removed my fiber optic cable and wired an LED into my shift pointer. All came out much better than I had even anticipated.

Re: Need pic of stock instrument cluster lit up at night

If you want brighter than 168 you can use 17177 bulbs. I swapped out my 168 to 17177 and it is a real upgrade and the same price as 168 [ sorry no pics at this time]

Where can you get the 17177 bulbs? I can't find here locally.

I always thought the 194 bulbs were brighter than the 168

Re: Need pic of stock instrument cluster lit up at night

I'm glad i read this, I'm working on my truck's cluster today. had no idea the shifter pointer had a light, Thanks!

my truck was modified to be hot rod truck out in the dunes by the 2 previous owners, i have been changing it back to somewhat stock every sence i bought it.

they had a monster recall tack where the speedometer should be.

i have all the fun stuff done, now all the not so fun begins.
