^ that's the original color of my suburban, although I think from what I've read, there may be a slight difference between years....I know they called it a different name. I've read threads here about the colors. Someday, I will repaint the burb in as close to original color as I can. I forget what they call it in 63, but later I think it's called Glennwood green

Thanks guys,I was lookin through the forum and ran across some in there,I have a pretty good Idea how it's gonna look,just have to make up my mind about the Factory Dark Blue or the Light Green.....as I like them both...decisions,decisions.....

Here is a 66 GMC I had till a year ago. Original paint from the molding up and original wood in box. I bought it about 7 years ago for a steal at a local auction. Smooth running 305 v6,3 on the tree. high geared rear end. last pic is the new owners. For the purist out there yes I know GMC didn't have the white with the bottom molding. It did however distract from my bodywork skills on the lower section. |
