Irritated.

I posted an ad to sell my truck on Craig's list clearly stated there was no drivetrain I get texted all night from a guy who wants to trade for a car I don't want told him we don't need another car. Tries talking me into it. " ok but no thanks" can't blame someone for trying if they really wanted it here is where I get annoyed.

What size of motor is in the truck

It has no drivetrain as mentioned in ad

Do u have the tranny for it

"Valid question ^ I will give him that"

No it is as is

Is the tranny in the back of it

"Wtf"

No it's the truck no motor no tranny

I wont trade with out a motor in it

Now I am a nice person and I usually don't get irritated and am fine with people turning me down but I didn't want his car and felt my ad was clear

Just venting sorry

Yep... no matter what stipulations or "no trades", "cash only", etc... some twit will always ask anyways... I hate CL, but it's a necessary evil.

Re: Irritated.

Maybe he didn't understand the term drivetrain...

So is the motor in the garage and the tranny in the shed?

Hope the next buyer is better understanding..

Re: Irritated.

When I do CL ads... I also don't do any business via email or text. Phone calls only. Nowadays a lot of the twits don't want to actually talk to a human so it cuts back on te dumb questions.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
