Scored a set of Slots today.
Just picked these up. 6 16.5 8 lug slot wheels. 2 with nice studded tires. there is 4 matching wheels, and 2 with a bit more offset.
Get em all for $100 not bad i dont think. Should shine up and look great on "Rusty". Guy said he is glad i called, was getting ready to take them in for scrap!

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
Ive got 2 sets of 35x12.5x16.5 AT tires and 1 set of 35x12.5x16.5 BFG Mud terrains. You can still buy the 35x12.5x16.5 BFG All Terrain tires new.

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
Will measure tomorrow.
Haha I dont have a need for those. Although i would possibly trade the 4 wheels that arent as wide for 2 wide ones to match the 2 ive got.

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
I just measured them, the 4 are 16.5x8.25(stamped on the back) and the other 2 are 16.5 with looks about 9.5 from inside bead to inside bead.

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
Well that is too bad. The only other wheels I have are a set of Western aluminum spoke wheels with the hub caps but they are 16.5x8.5~. Plus I just don't think they are heavy enough for a 4x4 on 35s like you are talking.

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
Thats so sharp.....I love the dated look that those wheels bring out
One of my favorites is "Special K's" ochre/white camper special with the slots...that truck looks like it came out of a time capsule

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
Good eye. Period correct was my exact intention when I did what I did to that truck...25 years ago in 1988!! I did what a sick C/20 would have in '71: slots, wider rear wheels & tires, tonneau cover. I had a set of 9.75s on a medium olive '71 K/20,too. Got a set on the shelf for my GMC now (w/ 12.50/35s)

Re: Scored a set of Slots today.
I've got a set of "turbines" on my 70 step, wanting a set of slots for my other one. My buddy has a set on his 60 Apache that I've been trying to talk him out of.
