The kickdown switch is pretty common on GM Fullsize cars , 1968 - 1976 Olds Delta 88 , 98 , Wagons , Impalas , Bonnevilles ... more common on these than trying to find a GM "A" body ... Good Luck !!!

Just out of curiosity I did about 10 minutes worth of searching and found that '67,'68,'69 Firebirds used a carb mounted trans kickdown for the TH400. Found on ebay for $30 with bracket. The bracket would be the best part, the switch looks like a regular brake light switch. Will try to post a link or pic.
