I got busy this morning and got two of my new gauges put on my truck. I decided to mount them on the hood since the hood is going be replaced with a 4-6" cowl hood. Now I con keep tabs on my new fuel system!

Cool I always wanted a vacuum gauge

I take it you dont drive the truck much in fowl weather, huh? rain would put a hurtin' on them new gauges

I like guages. When I get around to redoing my interior im planning on putting a guage in for everything that the motor uses. I like to just know exactly what the motor is doing all the time.

you could always buy some gauges to fit under the cowl induction for the hidden look, but have those gauges to know whats goin on

gotta love those phantom gauges they look great on your truck
I'll get mine over time maybe one or two a month until i have all the vitals and non vitals covered, it'll have to wait though, now i gotta rebuild my 350 :thank god i didn't trash the 305 but i should've rebuilt the 350 from the start

unless they are lighted there shouldn't be any electronics going to either of them

looks good cole. i plan on doing the same thing when i pick up my hood in a couple weeks.

Thanks for all the feed back guys.... I do plan on putting the gauges under the cowl.

Your right I dont drive Bertha too much @ 9mpg

It takes 1/2 tank for 1 round trip to work

but I take her out as often as I can. Far as the gauges go I keep them covered up with a zip loc bag. unless I'm cruzing around.
