How do you identify what windshield rubber and trim go together?

I HEAR one is more shallow that the other .. is there a measurement, how do i know exctly what to ask for?

I am not sure of what you are asking but if you are asking about the plain and the one with chrome the later has a channel in it to snap in the trim. I don't think that is what your asking, but gimme a break, I been up since 3am

67-70 has a 5/8" deep with centered trim tab that installs in weatherstrip to hold it in place for 71-72 ,it has a 1/8"deep offset trim tab that installs in weatherstrip to hold it in place.
