Reproduction Interior Door Panels Correct?
Been looking at replacing my interior vinyl door panels on my 71 CST Blazer. All the panels I see in the catalogs for the 70-71 years have a wood and chrome molding strip embedded in them. My original ones dont have these strips, just black with imprint design. Are the Catalogs wrong or did the original owner of mine swap them out for 69 panels? Did the 71 panels with Wood/chrome strips only come on trucks?

The 1969 panels don't have the woodgrain and chrome trim at the top.Someone probably switched door panels. They do interchange with no problems.

I think it depends on the trim level of the truck.
My dad's 72 Custom Deluxe did not have woodgrain or big bright insert. It just had a narrow chrome band outlining that area. My Blazer has that same style, (not original) that I pulled out of a truck in the bone yard. ------------------ 72 Blazer CST X 2 |

I see you are from Columbia, I have different styles of door panels and seat covers in stock if you want to look at what is available. Give me an email with your number and I will give you a call.

My 71 CST blazer came the same way as yours. No woodgrain at the top or chrome inlay. It has a fancy scroll on it and just the chrome retaining strip at the top of the door panel.

The door panel you are describiong sounds like the '70 CST pannel. I have a set, and they look just like the ones on the LMC picture.
