While the Custom Z62 did morph into the 71-72 Custom Deluxe Z62 it needs to be noted that the 70 down Z62 trucks could be optioned with carpet as well. Later 71-72 trucks were a color keyed rubber mat without a carpet option (except Highlander trim).
