Any pics of the "drip" rail removed?
I am looking into getting my truck painted and in the process of removing all the bumpers, cowl, etc...
I don't want to shave the door handles or the side markers but looking into having the radio antenna shaved and the drip rail removed to make it more sleek. Anyone have any pics of their antennas shaved or the drip rail removed? Any reason you wouldn't remove the rail? Just hoping they would be able to smooth it out enough and never even notice it isn't there anymore. Thanks!

Here is my cowl with it shaved.
I had it frenched in on the passenger side behind the door. I shaved the gas filler the front bumper but didn't do the drip rail. I wished I had of though! I regret not doing it. If and when I paint mine again it will be done.

Here are some "shaved" drip rails. They aren't easy to shave, it usually takes a lot of time and you have to line up the gaps perfectly to make it look right. Some of these trucks belong to members on here

My convertible - of course - doesn't have a drip rail. One day while cruising after getting rained on I rolled down my window. All was good until I went around a corner. I won't make that mistake again.
