I need help.

I have a 71 blazer and have replaced the floor pans kickers and the rocker panels. I have hung the doors back on to check the gaps. I found my passenger seat with a little bit of work lines up perfect. As for the driver side there's a 5/8 gap on the top of the door and a 1/4 inch gap on the bottom. I do not have the roof on and tried every which way with the hinges to adjust the gap but to no avail. I have the old hinges on the truck. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: I need help.

My understanding is that on our Blazers
Because they have the body attached you must start
By adjusting the back of the door first.
I have seen worn out or even different size
Body mounts make a big gap like that.
