Exhausting Problem!
Ok not so much but I am looking at my options for my exhaust on my truck. A 72 3/4 ton 2wd long bed.
Motor just built and will be fired on Wednesday. I currently have flotech headers going down... What should I do? Single 3" muffler and pipe out? (Cost effective) Or run dual out back? Motor has upgraded heads, roller rockers, cam, intake, etc. What about package deals? Something I can bolt right in? Or do I need to get my hands on a bender etc?

Re: Exhausting Problem!
I paid $375 installed for true duals run out the back with chrome tips.
I had them use stock mufflers, I had flowmasters on it and it was to loud for my taste, but I'm getting old. The shop removed my old system and ran all new 2" pipe. I'm happy with it.

Re: Exhausting Problem!
Personal preference.Run duals and run them all the way out the back.It sounds better to me but quiet enough to live with.Go ahead and have them put an x-pipe or crossover in it.I think true duals sound better at whatever muffler sound you like.
