fleet bed floor repair

Tried this today as a repair for the short fleet steel floor repair. Cut the ends off a long be and weld it up.

Re: fleet bed floor repair

As owner of a fleetside with swiss cheese for a floor I'm always glad to see a metal floor repair thread.

Even the long beds are getting tough to find. Gotta make due. Gonna weld it up and test fit this weekend

Re: fleet bed floor repair

You can, hell you can cut the whole long bed down if ya want. But the mount rails and sidebed holes are diff so be careful and measure twice. My donor was bowed and dented in the center between the wells so I opted to just cut the ends.
