3li9,
Their panels do not have holes for the stainless trim inserts that hold the woodgrain on the panels. The woodgrain has just started to get reproduced. If you do a search on here you can find the company selling them. I'm not sure you can add the holes to those panels.

I did not realize they were being reproduced. So if I have an original door panel with inserts. They make a insert with the chrome surrounding now to go in my holes on my panel?

Re: 72 cheyenne door panels?

There are a couple places that carry the woodgrain inserts. I bought mine from LMC. They are plastic and don't have the silver "pinstripe" around the edge.

Classic Parts just came out with a metal panel with the "pinstripe". I am considering swapping them out with my plastic ones.

At this time, nobody makes a replacement for the metal trim that surrounds and secures the woodgrain panel to the door panel.

If you want the woodgrain and don't currently have it, your best bet may be to find some used 72 Super Cheyenne door panels and salvage the metal trim.

Does that help?

Classic Parts item: http://www.classicparts.com/1972-Doo.../#.URq7ex08CSo

LMC Part: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=113

Again, if you currently have the woodgrain inserts, you can SAVE the metal trim. If you have the money, spring for the Classic Parts panel. More authentic than the LMC.

I have pics of when I replaced mine if you need any help. It's pretty easy!

Can do! I've posted some on the Facebook page.

Hopefully I'll get some time to do that tonight.

Re: 72 cheyenne door panels?

Someone mentioned pics of panels. I soda blasted mine and prepped/painted them with SEM Super White paint. Don't let the name or cap color fool you. It's a real close match to parchment interior pieces.
