1966 horn button
This is a pic of my steering wheel and horn button. I don't think this is the correct horn button but the 1966 button I ordered wont fit it is too small for the horn button retainer cup. My question is does this look like the right steering wheel and maybe the previous owner replaced the retainer cup and horn button?

Don't think it's the correct wheel, it looks like it's out of a 50's car

Your wheel and cap are correct for '66. Here's mine.

not the best shot, but here is the deluxe wheel, -same wheel, they just added a horn ring.

Re: 1966 horn button
Thanks guys for the responses. Here is the horn button that LCM and Classic sells for the 1966. It is too small for the horn retaineron my steering wheel. I cant seem to find a horn button like the one I have. Maybe if I purchase the 1966 retainer the new horn button will fit?

Re: 1966 horn button
Only one horn button is availible to purchase new and you have it. It wont fit the 66 wheel. oem4me is correct, on both accounts.

Re: 1966 horn button
I have a 65 and the wheel is the same. My horn button is the red bowtie one. Perhaps your horn retainer ring was replaced in the past with an incorrect prior year's. It would still fit within the opening and probably work but the retainer ring diameter could be just different enough to not allow the attachment of the correct 66 button.

Re: 1966 horn button
Any idea where I can buy a new 1966 button? LCM and Classic show the 1965 as fitting the 1966 and it will not. Thanks guys for all your help!
