69 k10
Here is a 69 k10 I bought a week ago, but I got the chance to go pick it up today. It is all there and it runs but the cab is rusty. I am going to get it running correctly and just drive it as it is. It has some neat options. Power steering, power brakes, big 292, and roof lights, to name a few. Here are some pics:

Saw that one on Ebay. Love the shortbed stepside look. The PTO winch is pretty cool, too.

Nice. My 67 had a 250, I love the sound of those old sixes. We rebuilt the carburetor and re-ringed the engine and it ran like a top. Another good thing about the sixes is that everybody wants a v8 so parts are usually pretty cheap. Looks like you truck is complete down to the original air cleaner - nice score.

I also saw that one for sale, looks great, drive the heck out of it. What are your plans for that 'deal' on the back of it? It is some sort of a log lift or drag isn't it?

Thanks guys. The truck is rough but it does run. Yes the lift in the back was used to lift something, but I am sure it would not have been very heavy. Here is a pic of it on the trailer.

wow, if that truck was sitting outside anywhere on my farm it'd be in mud up to the wheels. I guess I'd get to test the 4wd though

Wow congrats on your new-old Truck,I like them ole sixes also,and that's a 292,Iv'e always had 250's,But the 292's are even better.

The Brits used an A-frame like that in WWII Western Desert campaign to pick engines.
Nice rig, minus the rust. I love the 292. I'm on my 3rd. The drivers side spare on-the -fender is rare too.

Well around here old 4x4's are not easy to find. Most were killed years ago on farms or either chopped up for mud racing.
This truck was built in Tarrytown NY. Unusual to see a Tarrytown vehicle here. Most of our cars and trucks were built in St Louis, Flint or Atlanta. Hey I was born in Tarrytown NY! But my '68 292-powered C/10 Stepside and my (project) '67 K/10 Sub were out of Fremont, Calif. The '71 GMC Jimmy was built in St. Louis, and a '72 K/5 parts Blazer was from Flint.
There used to be a guy down the road from me with a '67 of '68 K/20 Fleetside came outta Tarrytown, but I haven't heard from him in 3 years.
