Cattle Guard For 1969 GMC c1500?

Does anyone know of cattle guards that would fit on my 1969 GMC? Thanks!

Yes. They call them grille guards,though. Cattle guards go in the road in line with fencing . A company called Luverne made them and they were also offered as GM accessories. I thought I had a picture but can't find it right now. There's one for sale on the parts board right now.

Around this area the terminology was a regional thing, if you were a City Slicker you had a grille guard, if you lived out in the boonies it was a brush guard and if you lived 30 miles south of NoWhere then it was a cattle guard.

Like Tim said there was a factory version and an accessory version, both were made by Luverne. Here's one for a GMC

Lot of the trucks for sale here in Idaho have guards and the most of them call then cattle guards,, depends on where you are and what you need them for I guess like you said.

Couldnt help but notice that the truck in your picture is just a bit close to being not on the lift with the front right tire.. did the truck make it up and down ok..?
