Re: Fire truck
I don't think you could wear that seat or the clutch pedal like that in 5200 miles. We have have a 1960 2 ton Chevy fire truck with 4900 miles on it that looks newer than that. And no it's not for sale.

Re: Fire truck
It also looks like it has had some Bondo work to the rockers. Look at the photo of that "quarter size" rust spot and notice the un-finished bondo on the front of the rocker between it and the fender. Still looks like a solid truck for its age.

Re: Fire truck
Put me on the list...I like it. Looks like the dash pad might be a replacement. Maybe the steering colum/wheel. May be I'm just splitting hairs tho cuz that's the dash pad I need

Re: Fire truck
Somehow I really doubt that mileage.
Still a nice truck though.

Re: Fire truck
So, did the FD paint it that yellow, if it was a fleetside I do not think GM painted it that color.

Re: Fire truck
It left the factory 514 solid light red. There is nothing special about this truck except for a rare 6-cyl tach. There are no fleet options at all. Your grandmother could have ordered it as it is listed.
