71 Suburban F/S--No motor or trans - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

71 suburban GMC 1500. It has a 402/TH400, but i'm keeping that along with the motor mount to frame brackets.. It has new brakes all the way around and new LR wheel cylinder. New front and rear brake hozes. New turn signal switch. New idler arm. I packed the front wheel bearings and everything looks good. I changed the rear gear oil and everything looked good. (3:07posi).
It has a nos steel gas tank, with the genuine GM sticker still on it.(i got it with the tank already in). It has a square reciever with trailer brakes, but i never towed with it. It has roof air, factory tach, am radio, tinted windows, three seats, tail gate ......
It needs rust repair. Rockers, floors, rad support. Rubber body mount bushings. the stearing box leaks.
I drove this sub to work every day, and 150mi to Williamsport and back. I hate to get rid of it but i got 4 projects now...I'll try to post some pictures. If they dont work I'll email them to you.

My driveway is tooo ful for another vehicle. Have you thought about parting the truck? I would be interested in the gate, gastank rear carpet strip, chrome strip on the interior along the top of the rear panel driver side, jack and spare tire and any associated parts that go along with it including lugwrench jack handle and any parts that secure the spare tire in place.Maybe I'm close enougth to pick up? not sure exactly where you are but I'm just north of washingto D.C. in maryland. Just a thought.
