I am getting ready to put an exhaust on my 79 step side and would like to see some pictures of the underside of your trucks especially from the side to see how the exhaust looks

the 78 has turn down out of the mufflers now,no tails,can't see then ,just hear them

I'm working on making mine California smog legal. The previous owner removed the stock catalytic converter, so I had a MagnaFlow high-flow cat with a super turbo muffler installed. The tailpipe dumps down after the rear-end so you can't see it. I'm going for the simple, clean, and quiet look.
