It gets hot here. Truck's not stock. I like a darker tint. I'm not much of a night driver. The tint on there now looks very different in different light.

Those flush fit rear windows are sweet. Too bad they dont make a windshield like that.

Re: Would a tinted rear window look out of place on my truck?
Mister-B i am thinking of tenting the windows on ole dollor, it sure helps in the hot summer in Texas, i was thinking of vent and side windows a legal tent and im thinking the back window in that stuff they use for advertising on vehicles and put ole dollor across the back glass. i think it might called wrapping , i have seen it on a lot of vehicles....it depends on the price and when i can save enough to get it done...

Your truck has such a classic look to it, are you afraid the window wrapping might look a little too modern? Posted via Mobile Device |

. . . .
The slider I bought for my 70 came with " dark tint ". It's not as dark as it looks in this picture, you can see into the cab. I thought it would be darker, but it works !!! . . . . |

Could you use a uv tint? Keeps the heat out but lets the light in. Thinking about doing this on my own truck. Oh yea it does not look like tint.

before i retired we liked to see palms up on the steering wheel, but very few people ever used this, most would fumble around when we walked up, and always had an excuse on why they did this...always made a traffic stop interesting.... |

Here's one with a white shimmery back window. And, if *I* had your rig, the second shot would be my take on her. But, like I said, she sits perfectly for you as she is.

Re: Would a tinted rear window look out of place on my truck?
thanks again for the photo shop pics. wish i could do that...the tint by itself does look good, where did my chains and bumper go..lol sure makes it look different. Texas is a great place to be, all but about 4 years of my life have been in west Texas, i went to east Texas for that time, so i guess i will stay. glad you like ole dollor, its a real fun truck to drive, just don't stop for gas if you are in a hurry...and thank you.
