WTB-67-72 stepside bed SWB

Looking for a 67-72 short bed. Would like a step side but I would consider a fleet as well. Not having any luck in the northeast finding one so far.

Re: WTB-67-72 stepside bed SWB

I have one for sale that is darn near perfect. Rust free stuff, west coast fenders, etc. Has been media blasted, Epoxy primed and in PPG 2K primer right now. It needs a little final blocking and base / clear (your choice)

It's quite a ways a way from you though. Find one for say $400, fix the rust, blast it, buy PPG epoxy (DP) and the $150/gl primer. You'd easily have $800 in it plus your time. This one is ready to go, original wood bed. PM if you're interested but I think the distance would kill it for you. Pics in my Big Block 68 build. Steps go with it, tail lights, and the gate is a new Triplus repro.

I would consider a rusty one. I can't even find that up here. I looked it up and it was 14 hours to you. I am willing to travel some but 14 hours is just a bit to much. I will have to wait for the weather to break a bit and convince the wife to make a road trip. I just may take you up on that. Thanks, Ron

Re: WTB-67-72 stepside bed SWB

heres a couple pics for ya Like i said this bed is rough but it can be worked if your willing.
the worst parts are the bottom of the bedsides below the angle strip needs attentions the area where the steps meet the fender need attention, and the cross rails have some holes the front bed panel has surface rust but its still solid. I bought this bed just for the driverside fender witch i did not get off yet but i have another that allready has some rust repair done to it for this bed if wanted also have a rough tail gate too.

I think bekeman emailed me asking for a bed but i dont have any 8' fleets right now

I know it's been a couple months, but did you ever find one?

I'm also looking for a stepside as well near GA! If anyone has one.
