Hub Centric Rings
So I need a little education - looking to do some smoothies on my 64 stepside.... so I guess I need Hub Centric Rings - I've never dealt with these - has anyone used these - and does any have insight into how you measure for these... completely outside my comfort zone here. Thanks

hub centric rings help to center the wheels on the hubs. what type of smoothies are you going with ? Chances are you can get by with out the rings.But if you develop a vibration you can use an E.T. style lug nut.

looking to run some centerline smoothies - I love the look of these

not being hub centric on a hub-centric truck with a lug-centric wheel is ok if the hub opening is too large (C/K20 guys do it often by using Ford 3/4 ton wheels on our 3/4 ton trucks). But a too small hub opening is a no-go.

if its 5 lug its a 3 in bore , if its a factory drums its 3.5 , the larger bore center ones
will work but the caps are horriable , i suggest machining the hubs down to 3 and run the 88-98 3 in bore wheels caps is way better Posted via Mobile Device

yes sir , drill and tap the wheels to use early clips and use what ever cap u want , i like the 55-56 chevy truck cap myself
