Looking like an awesome hot rod that you can enjoy with the family. Can't do that in a pickup as easy and the blazer is awesome for that! Sweet build!

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
It has been a month since the last update. Progress slowed down dramatically. The guy doing the assembly on my Blazer had to take a lot of time off of work because his father is dying of cancer. They have hired a new person to help take up some of the load and now my Blazer is making progress again.
They have installed the gas tank and fuel lines. They are almost done wiring it and they've installed a dash pad. It isn't much of an update but, I'll take what I can get. |

Great work done on that truck! Love the color. What are your plans for the stereo/speakers?

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
It will have a decent stereo in it. Since the top will be off, it will all be marine grade equipment. I'll have dash speakers, kick panel speakers, speakers on the front side of the wheel wells in the back and a woofer in the rear.

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
It seems like there's starting to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
I believe the next part they'll do is the cooling and finish putting the front end together. |

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
I have another small update. The radiator support and radiator have been mounted. The inner fenders have been painted and should be installed any day. The fuel system is done. The wiring is getting close to being done. Once the cooling system is done they'll start on putting the body together, building the interior and smoothing the top and it will be pretty much done. Here are a few pictures.

What electric fan did you go with? I've got a single core that is getting a little too warm for my liking in the summer weather. |

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
Wow! It is all like brand new. That is amazing! I am just starting my build, but there is no way I will be able to do all that at this time. Maybe my next project. Can't wait to see it finished.

Re: I think I've decided on a build "theme"
Got another update today. Inner fenders and fenders are hung. It's starting to look like a Blazer. Not sure how I feel about the K5 Blazer emblem on the truck. I will probably leave it on there even though it's a C5 Blazer.

Love the K5 emblem! |
