Intake spacer question
So I have an aftermarket (Weiand) INTAKE with a spacer on it. The issue I'm having is that the spacer puts my throttle cable at an awkward angle which makes my gas peddle go from nothing to everything in a hurry. This is a problem with my 4 speed manual.
So, do any of you guys know of anyone that makes a bracket to raise the position of the throttle cable? Something that will go around the back of the carb just to lift it a little? use some longer bolts with flat washers on the bottom

Can you break it down like a fraction for me? Longer bolts where with flat washers on the bottom of what?

Get the other throttle bracket. Your local parts store should have one.

In your pic you have the transmission cable bracket and not the upper throttle bracket

I'm with Redcap. Get a bracket. Factory used one that bolted to the carb base. See what the auto parts store has and maybe a trip to the salvage yard.
