Storing my Bed
I'm to the point in my frame-off of my '67 where the bed needs to come off. My shop is a 'bit' of a mess and I'm crunched for space. I was considering removing the bed and standing it on the headgate on some rubber mats and strapping it to a wall to keep it out of the way.
Was wondering if anyone else had stored their bed in this manner and if it damaged the bed at all? Also, when I removed the cab, I sat it flat on my floor. Will this cause it any damage? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Storing my Bed
I stored a short stepside bed that way for a couple of years in my garage while working on the truck and it never hurt it. Mine did not even have the wood in the floor.
