Talking Please read.....you'll love this!

My shop was robbed last night. We had seven cars burglarized, all the windshields and drivers door glass smashed out, 2 back glasses smashed out, stereos ripped out of the dash.........you get the picture

Now for the good part- the police caught two of the little bastards before I even got there. (apparently there was 5 of them) These aren't kids either, they were all in their 20's. Since all of the cars were on the same lot, they were charged with the accumilative damage which makes this a felony. They won't be doing much breaking into anything for a long time. The police confiscated their "Fast and Furious" car too.

Lets here it for Virginia's finest!

WooHoo!
I love it when they can catch them almost immediately like that. I hope they get some time out of it.

Randy...I almost fell out of the chair!!! I, at first, thought you meant at home That really shook me, to envision all those vehicles being violated. Still, a sad day for the owners, but they probably aren't classics or customs. Also, glad to hear of a fast collar!! Not often they get caught.

That is really good news that the police caught them right away. I hope the heathens get all the time they deserve. It must make a problem for you having to deal with the customers cars and the different problems.

Thanks for sharing, it sounds like justice will be served!

And people always want to criticize the police when a crime happens. I wish the public knew more about the times like these, when the police are able to catch the bad guys!!!!

Lets hope they can round up the rest of them. Just give me 10 minutes alone with them with a lit cigarette and this pencil, I'd get some answers. I hope the judge hands out stiff sentences. Its unfortunate that there are so many victims to crime. Not only those that get hurt, vandalized etc. but also the extra burden put on the average taxpayer towards feeding these guys in a warm, dry jail cell. I can think of more honest people living in worse conditions.

Congrats on getting some of the perps. If the cops took their ricer, will it be sold to pay for damage? Making insurance claims is not always the best solution, especially since you have been in business less than a year. I hope the two caught will narc on their buddies too

Holy sh!t Randy! I'm glad they caught two of them. Did the police find out a motive? Was it Chesapeake or VA police? I'll ask my brother but he's over in Greenbrier not sure if that includes Indian river.

Our shop is in Chesapeake. It doesn't look like there was any motive, they just walked around and destroyed everything they could get their hands on.
