Best source for window felt

I've searched and it looks like there are a few options. I was thinking of GMC Paul's but if there is something better I'll take it.

I tried to adjust the originals which had slid down the doors and they are so old that the window just keeps getting caught up. If I'm going to replace the felts what about the sweeps at the same time?

The felt in the wing divider is fine so I won't be replacing those. My plan is to pull the door panels and lube up the regulators at the same time.

Thanks for the replies. Some sites don't state what brand they offer. GMC Paul's seems to be the best price if they use precision.

Re: Best source for window felt

Does Precision make window felts? The last aftermarket set I bought was US made and came from GMC Paul but wasn't marked Precision....

Re: Best source for window felt

If all you need are window sweeps, repop is the best fitting brand I have found. They are made in the USA, classic industries carries them.

Re: Best source for window felt

I just installed the eight piece package from GMCPauls, which has the rubber and felt sweeps, the felt for the divider, and the the channels. The only piece that wasn't labelled as Precision were the channels. They seem to be well made and installed nicely.

Re: Best source for window felt

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'm going to do new sweeps, I just don't need the division bars. I'll e-mail them and see if I can get a 6 pc kit instead of 8 pc.

Re: Best source for window felt

As an aside, my vent windows rubbers began to crack after 6 months of sunshine - the 40 year old pieces were as good as these are now. If you go through the effort to rebuild your vent windows search out the best rubber seals...
