72' C10 First Build
Bought my truck about a year ago for 800.00. Best purchase of my life. It needed some work but what 72 doesn't. Truck is a 72 Longbed with a 350/350 combo. Engine and tranny need rebuilt. I have been working on body work since I bought it and just minor tinkering here and there. Funds aren't the greatest as of lately due to me paying and planning for a wedding haha. I figure I'm only 25 so I have plenty of time. I figured I would do the body work and get it done and primered and than focus on engine and transmission rebuild. I plan to POR15 the cab floor this week and also the rear of my frame. I have a lot of plans for this truck and i'm hoping to get the body completely done this summer, and doing the engine and transmission over the winter so it'll be ready for some fun summer 2014, although I'm very impatient with this truck because I just want it to be complete, but all good things take time is what I've been told so I have to keep my eye on the realistic picture.

My truck when I first got it. And here are some pictures of my progress thus far. As you can tell, I don't have a lot of room in my single car garage. Truck sits maybe an inch from back of front of garage and an inch from rear of garage. But I make due |

Re: 72' C10 First Build
Thanks man. That's how it was when I first brought her home. For some reason it wouldn't let me attach any other pictures. Says I'm missing a token or something. I have more updated pics of the body work that I've done. but yea. Definitely a work in progress as I have a lot I want to do to it.

It's a trim package. They had the plaid seats.

Re: 72' C10 First Build
I have made quite a bit of progress on truck. Not anywhere near I'd like but slow and steady is what I'm going for here. Will get updated photos up this weekend.
