How do you folks organize all your pics?
Hey guys,
I was wondering how you folks store/organize your pictures?? These days it seems I spend so much time looking for a picture and can never find it! I have to date 2508 pictures - and have been trying to sort of organize them, with not much luck.

Mine are not done very well yet. Most part I have Shows, then I have a category for each year. Sometimes I have some subdivisions when I have a good series of pics on one truck. Origainizing the 4 CD's worth of pics, and scanning in the boxes of them over the years is one of those "to-do" things in the future.

JoetheMobster I'm actually in the process of doing what Mudder67 has suggested. Make folder's. I started to find out when I was posting some of my collection on the Pictures Board it would have helped me out to have had them in catigories or sumthin to make posting that much easier. I was at it all night with sum of those threads with could have only takin me an hour or two...LOL...

If you make one folder for all your pics you can then create the different folders (color, year, wheels, etc). Then you can create multiple shortcuts to each picture and file the shortcuts in each different folder. This way you can file links to each picture in various folders and still just have one actual picture taking memory. Just a suggestion.

The free on-line photo albums are great...untill they sell the company and delete all your pics and tell you that you have to pay for there service.
Happened to me a few times. |
